Murcia Tourist Information - Golf in Murcia
The popularity of golf in the other southern regions of Spain has reached Murcia. A lot of courses are coming up in the region giving Murcia a new identity of a golfing destination. More and more tourists are coming to the region to enjoy their favourite sport. The relative anonymity of the region also means that there will be more peace and more time which are essential to the sport. The sport is gaining increasing popularity in the region and there are quality courses throughout.
This course is situated just a few kilometers from the capital- Murcia and one hour from Alicante airport.
The course was designed in the shape of two 9-hole curves which start and finish at the same point. Its main feature is the uneven greens and the main difficulty lies in the bunkers which flank them. You will need to hit a very accurate drive if you want to keep out of the bunkers and make birdie.

This 9-hole course is on flat ground, and its biggest difficulty is its shortness and the accuracy it requires. The fairways are flanked by several bunkers so the player has to aim very carefully.
Four lakes and several trees run through the course and border the fairways. Since its beginnings, the Club has looked after young players, and has its own Golf School.
